A group of neighbors is running a small bulk buying project to prioritize solidarity and access to fresh local food. The program runs on a cooperative model, with neighbors bulk ordering together from a farm to get a truck delivery of produce, dairy, meat, tofu, flour, and more. Solidarity donations support some of the orders.
We order food from regional vendors and distribute every other Wednesday morning from two sites, one in Flatbush near Newkirk Plaza and one in Kensington. You can contribute money towards groceries for others or request a solidarity discount for yourself. If you would like to make a donation, we're on Open Collective.
